Aluminum honeycomb core is made from multiple layers of aluminum foil, processed through gluing, pressing, and expanding. It features sharp, clean-edged cells, making it ideal for splicing high-quality core-to-core panels and other precision applications.
The core layer of a honeycomb panel consists of a hexagonal aluminum honeycomb structure. The tightly connected cells resemble a dense array of I-beams, which effectively distribute the pressure applied to the panel surfaces. This ensures uniform stress distribution and allows the panel to maintain high flatness over a large area.
